Each child profile can carry an age band and interests. Lumi uses that context so a 9-year-old and a 16-year-old are not treated as the same person.
House rules
Parents can toggle safety boundaries in plain language: strong language, grown-up content, stranger danger, identity guard, and more. Changes apply before the next message. See Parent controls.
Wellbeing
If a child talks about self-harm or other high-risk topics, Lumi is designed to stay careful, refuse harmful assistance, and keep family safety rules on. This is support inside a family product — not a replacement for a trusted adult or professional help.
